Afternoon tea is offered twice each month in the main house. Feel free to ask for a schedule with your reservation request. The guesthouse is located in the country just outside of Burnsville, in the heart of the western North Carolina mountains. Wildlife is abundant affording you a chance to see deer, fox, squirrels, rabbits, wild turkey, birds and much more first hand. Hiking or walking trails will allow you time to simply enjoy the scenic and panoramic views along with the numerous wildflowers in the area.

By request a guided wildflower tour is provided( the guesthouse is named for the Trillium that number into the hundred on the grounds each spring).


Our guesthouse was built in 1995-1996
and opened in the Spring of 1996.

At Christmas both units are decorated each with a special theme.

Done in a fashionable country decor, which blends and allows for all the modern conveniences the guesthouse includes a TV and Stereo CD player. 
The combined living, dining room and kitchen is accented with hardwood floor adding to its' charm.  The kitchen is complete with dishes, small appliances, dishwasher, icemaker, microwave and disposal.
Each of the two bedrooms, sleeping up to four, have their own full private bath with tub and shower.  Designer bed and bath linens are furnished.
The large front porch is very inviting as the evening sun sets to enjoy nature at your door.

Hard wood oak floors throughout, gas log fire place warms in winter and air-conditioning as well as overhead fans cool in the summer.
The bedrooms have antique iron beds and designer linens.
The kitchen is complete with dishes, small appliances, dishwasher, icemaker, microwave and disposal. This is the larger of the two units, sleeping 6 people.
